Options and instructions for deleting a file from a transaction before a notary meeting is initiated. (The transaction must be in a "Draft" status.)
⚠️ If you connected with a notary, you cannot delete a file yourself. Please use one of these two options instead:
🎯Primary Audience: Individuals/Consumers (Retail Signers)
ℹ️ Business signers and Real Estate signers: Contact the Business, Lender, or Title Agent you're working with to discuss. Files can only be deleted by the person or organization that created the transaction.
Proof website (PC or mobile device)
- Hover over the name of the file
- Click/press Delete (appears next to the file name)
Notarize app on an Apple device:
- Swipe left on the file to expose the delete button.
- Tap the delete button.
Notarize app on an Android device:
- Press and hold the file to select it.
- Tap the trash can that appears in the upper right corner to delete the selected file.
