We are constantly working to improve your Notarize experience. Here are some highlights of what’s changing.

These enhancements were deployed to our Fairfax environment on Thursday, February 23, 2023, and our production environment on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

Enhancements

New York Biometrics

We introduced an in-meeting biometric check for signers joining meetings with New York notaries to meet the new state legal requirements. (NX-2142)

Closing Ops address validation

We added validation to addresses for Closing Ops users when they edit an address. (REAL-8166)

Mobile Web - Pin a video feed

Signers in the notary meeting using mobile web can tap the pin icon to pin a video feed. When using Notarize via our web browser on a mobile device, there's two video feeds for signers:

  • A video feed of the signer (signers see themselves)
  • A video feed that updates to display whoever is currently speaking (a notary or other signers on the call that are on different devices)

Pinning a video allows the signer to continue seeing the current speaker instead of having the video feed switch between speakers. For example, if the signer wants to continue to see the notary rather than other signers on the call, they can pin the notary's video feed by tapping the pin icon on the video or the icon on the In-meeting participants screen. Fixed!

Domain matching issue fixed - Title

We fixed an issue with domain matching in the Title Agent sign-up flow that was causing it not to work. (REAL-8222)
