Optional fields are for information that may be useful but is not required. When determining whether or not to use an optional field, ask yourself if there are details that could be helpful later, either to the person filling out a document or to the recipient of the completed document. If the answer is yes, optional fields are a great solution!
At Proof, signer fields can be set as optional in documents or document templates for all transaction types. Fields marked as optional by the business preparing the documents are labeled as such and are not required to complete the transaction.
