Overview
Information on validating your identity using Selfie Comparison.
Selfie Comparison is used to verify your identity when completing a notarization with a notary commissioned in New York.
After completing Knowledge-based Authentication (KBA) and Credential Analysis, your notary prompts you to capture images of your primary ID (again) and take a selfie to compare to your ID.
ℹ️ Future enhancements will allow you to skip this second capture of your primary ID since you previously captured images of your ID as part of Credential Analysis. (Coming soon!)
The system compares your selfie to the credential (ID) you provided to see if they match.
