Create and manage Referral Campaigns in your organization's Proof account. Referral Campaigns allow you to create and manage customer referrals. You can a tool for creating and managing customer referrals, allowing your customers to use Proof independently from your account.

⚠️ Transactions completed with referral links are not associated with your account. If you want access to the completed transaction, you must create the referral via the API with a redirect to your hosted EasyLink.

The instructions below apply to your Proof portal, but referral campaigns are also supported in our API.
Who can use this
Team members who have access to the organization's Tools can create and manage referral campaigns.
Create a campaign
Campaigns created in the UI automatically redirect to the Proof retail signer upload page. (These transactions are not hosted in your company portal.)
Log in to your Proof account to complete the steps below.
- Click Tools from the navigation panel on the left.
- If you don't see the panel, click the caret to expand it.
- Click Referral campaigns.
- Click the Create new campaign+ button in the upper right corner.
- Type a campaign name (only visible to you and your team).
- Select the radio dial to indicate your branding preference.

Select the radio dial to indicate who will pay for these transactions:
- The signer: Creates one reusable link allows the signer to use and pay for their own transactions using this link until you disable the campaign
- My organization: Generates a unique single-use link for every transaction
- Click Create campaign.
Share a campaign
- Click Tools from the navigation panel on the left.
- If you don't see the panel, click the caret to expand it.
- Click Referral campaigns from the page menu on the left.
- Click the 3 vertical dots next to the campaign you want to share.
- Select Share referral link.
- Choose your preferred sharing method and share as desired.
Manage a campaign
Managing active campaigns includes editing, deactivating, or sharing. Campaigns created by your team appear on the Referral Campaigns page.
- Click Tools from the navigation panel on the left.
- If you don't see the panel, click the caret to expand it.
- Click Referral campaigns.
- Click the 3 vertical dots next to the campaign you want to manage.
- Select your desired action:
- Select Edit campaign to change the name of the campaign.
- Select Deactivate campaign to disable it.
- Any associated links will become inaccessible.
- Campaigns can be reactivated at any time.
Reactivate an inactive campaign
To activate a campaign that was previously deactivated:
- Click the Inactive tab at the top of the Referral campaigns page.
- Click the 3 vertical dots next to the campaign you want to activate.
- Select Activate campaign.
