The notary's background for notary meetings can be changed. A blurred background provides some privacy for notaries since meeting participants are unable to see exactly who or what is behind the notary. Both the blurred background and custom background image provide a more polished, professional video feed, regardless of the physical background.
Notaries can remove the custom background during a meeting if needed.
Who can change the video background
- Admins and owners of organizations can change this setting.
- On-demand notaries can blur their background during meetings.
- In-house notaries can change their background if they are also an admin.
- Notaries sourcing transactions (NSTs) can upload a custom image.
