Learn how to use the Force Complete tool in the Transaction Details.
ℹ️ You must be the Proof platform owner or an administrator for your organization to use this feature.
🎯Primary Audience: Mortgage Lenders
Log in to your Proof account to complete the steps below.
Review Search for a Transaction for instructions on searching and filtering transactions.
- Click Send & manage from the navigation panel on the left.
- If you don't see the panel, click the left arrow to expand it.
- Find and click the desired transaction to open the Transaction Details.
- Click button at the top of Transaction Details.
- Select Force complete.
- Review the warnings and type the reason for the force complete.
- Click to confirm.
After Force Complete
A confirmation appears if the force-complete was successful and:
- The transaction status updates as follows:
- Notarizations: Complete with rejections
- eSign and Proof transactions: Complete
- The borrower's status updates to Complete
- The success or failure is logged in the Activity Log
