Branded Video Backgrounds for In-house Notaries
What is this?
We’re introducing a new feature for organizations to customize the video backgrounds of their notaries. Customizing the background increases brand consistency across the customer journey. When utilized, your company’s brand is prominent in the meeting, behind the notary that is serving your customer!
Who does this impact?

- Real Estate and Business customers of Proof.
- In-House Notaries (IHNs) employed by an organization utilizing this feature.
- Signers are indirectly impacted; they'll see a customized background during notary meetings with organizations utilizing this feature for their In-house Notaries (IHNs).
- Transaction Type: Remote Online Notarization (RON)
How does this work?
This feature is now available in your organization's account:
- Go to ⚙️ Settings < Brand customization < Video backgrounds.
iOS & Android Mobile App Enhancements
What is this?
The UI for signers using the iOS and Andriod mobile apps was updated to improve consistency with the browser experience.
Who does this impact?
- Audience: Signers using the iOS or Android mobile app.
- Transaction Types: Incomplete transactions that require signers to complete Credential Analysis.
How does this work?
This applies to signers using the iOS or Android application. Users do not need to do anything to experience these enhancements.
