User Experience Enhancements: Document Preparation & Sign Ahead
What is this?
The user experiences for Document Preparation and Sign Ahead were enhanced to make it easier for signers to fill in fields and sign their documents in advance (when applicable). With these improvements, we hope your signers complete as much as possible before the meeting to make the notary meeting quick and efficient!
Notes:
- Functionality remains the same. (The design layout was updated; the steps remain the same.)
- If you limit your signers' ability to edit the document before the meeting, that limitation is still there.
Who does this impact?
- Audience: Signers (Users signing documents in the Proof Core Portal.)
- Transaction Types: All future transactions and transactions previously sent to signers but not completed.
eSign, Proof, and Recall in the Title Portal
What is this?
The following transactions can now be created and recalled from the user interface (UI) in the Title portal:
- eSign transactions
- Proof transactions
Note: The transactions can be sent with the file number, loan number, and POCs (point of contact).
Who does this impact?
- Audience: Title Agents (that send transactions via the Proof User Interface (UI).
-
Transaction Types: Applies only to newly created draft transactions:
- You can use file number, loan number, and points of contact on previously created draft transactions but recall will only work on newly created transactions.
Enterprise Roles
What is this?
We created three new roles designed with our enterprise customers in mind. With Enterprise Roles, an organization's Admin or Owner can grant narrowly defined product access to their employees. The new roles include:
- User Manager: Users can only manage other users
- Tech Support: Users can only manage settings and troubleshoot
- Sender: Users can only send transactions
As shown above, each new role has limited access to the product, only what they need to perform their tasks and nothing beyond that.
Who does this impact?
- Audience: Enterprise customers
- Transaction Types: N/A
How does this work?
Read Roles-based Access (Enterprise Roles).

Note: Witnesses are also included in the max of ten (10).
Who does this impact?
- Audience: Business customers
- Transaction Types: All EasyLink transactions.
