Enhancements
Foreign Language Signer Alert (SE-5734)
When signers upload documents for notarization, we’ll alert them if the document is in a language other than English or Spanish. Individuals may upload documents to start a transaction when using a Signer-Upload Easylink, in response to a Retail Referral, or when initiating an individual notarization on Notarize.com.
The Notarize Network includes notaries who speak English and Spanish; documents in any other language cannot be notarized. If signers continue forward after the first alert, we warn them again during the document preparation stage.
Who does this impact?
- Audience: Signers uploading documents for notarization when using a Signer-Upload Easylink, in response to a Retail Referral, or when initiating an individual notarization on Notarize.com.
- Transaction Types: Incomplete/new Retail, Retail Referrals, and Signer-Upload Easylink transactions.

Prompt for Spanish Notary with Spanish Document (SE-5731)
Previously, we prompted signers to ask if they would like to speak with a Spanish-speaking notary when their browser language was set to Spanish. Now, we’ll also ask them if they’d like to speak with a Spanish-speaking notary if the document they uploaded is in Spanish.
Who does this impact?
- Audience: Signers uploading documents for notarization through a Signer-Upload Easylink, in response to a Retail Referral, or when initiating an individual notarization on Notarize.com.
- Transaction Types: Incomplete/new Retail, Retail Referrals, and Signer-Upload Easylink transactions.
Get Started Revamp for Business & Title (GRW-304)
We revamped our Get Started page for Business and Title users. This new page is split into four sections: Header, Workflows, Tools (business only), and Resources :
- Header: The new header displays a “Send a transaction” button until the first transaction draft is created. Once there is a draft transaction in the account, this section transitions to display metrics.

Workflows: The workflows section is composed of buttons to initiate various transaction types:
- Business customers: Notarization, eSign, and Proof transaction requests.
- Title Agents: Cash closing, Seller-side closing, and HELOC.
- Tools: The tools section is only visible to Business customers. This section has buttons that link to certain features, specifically Easylinks and Templates.
- Resources: The resources section links users to Proof content, such as blogs and webinars. This page is designed to be a launch pad for Businesses and Title Agents.
