Lock Recipient Name

What is this?

When organizations have the Lock Recipient Name setting turned ON, recipients completing transactions from that company cannot change their name in Customer Details to go into KBA and Credential Analysis or their signature name.

❗The recipient's name must be correct before sending the transaction. With this setting turned on, the recipient cannot change their name. If a mistake is made, the transaction must be recreated with the correct recipient name.

Who does this impact?

  • Audience: This feature is available to Business and Real Estate customers in the Business, Title, and Lender portals. You must opt-in to use this feature, but you can easily enable it yourself! (Instructions below.)
  • Transaction Types: All incomplete transactions

How does this work?

Organizations can enable this setting under Transaction Settings > Signer Settings > Signer Permissions section > Lock Recipient Name setting.

Command Center is a paid feature. Enterprise customers who have purchased it can now be granted access to User Management and Company Directory tools.

  • Centralized user management - allowing business owners and admins to manage their user's information and access from one hub.

  • Company directory - a visual representation of organizational hierarchy for companies with multiple branches or lines of business.

Who does this impact?

  • Audience: Command Center is available for Enterprise customers. It must be added as a paid feature, then enabled by Proof for each customer.
  • Transaction Types: N/A - This is a paid product experience.
