Before you send transactions, you can prevent changes to the recipient name. This provides greater security by ensuring that the person who completes the transaction is the intended recipient.
Follow the instructions below to enable the Lock Recipient Name feature in your account.

Enable Lock Recipient Name
You must have an Admin or Owner account to make this change.
- Click your initials in the upper right corner of your Proof account.
- Select Manage my account from the dropdown that appears.
- Click Settings from the menu on the left.
- Click Transaction settings.
- Find the Signer Permissions section.
- Select the Yes radio button under Lock Recipient Name.
- Click the Save changes button.
