Delete an OAuth client application or secret

Delete OAuth client applications or revoke app secrets using the instructions below.

When a client application is deleted, it will stop working immediately, even if it's currently in use. Be sure you're not actively using a specific secret before you delete it.

⚠️ Deleting a client application or app secret cannot be undone.

Who this is for

Any user in your organization with an owner or admin role and notaries sourcing transactions (NSTs) can perform the actions described below.

This is a paid feature and must be enabled by Proof. If you're interested in this feature, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or contact our sales team.

Delete a client application

1. Click Settings from the navigation on the left.
2. Select OAuth from the Settings page menu.
3. Click Delete next to the client application you want to delete.
   
4. Review the warning.
5. Click the button to confirm deletion.

Revoke an app secret

1. Click Settings from the navigation on the left.
2. Select OAuth from the Settings page menu.
3. Click View client application next to the one you'd like to open.
4. Click the trash icon next to the secret you'd like to delete.
   
5. Click the button in the pop-up window to confirm deletion.
