Pay Structure
The amount you're paid is based on the type of transaction, what type of account initiated the transaction, and what action you're performing. The table in the next section summarizes the amounts paid based on these definitions below.

-
Real estate
- Full real estate signing*: Transactions initiated by a title agent or lender Proof account, in which all documents are eSigned or notarized.

- Trusted referee: When you act as a trusted referee for a Proof or Identify transaction, you are paid per completed transaction, even if the person's identity was not verified.
*Only notaries who are permitted to handle real estate transactions are able to answer these calls. See Levels Policy for On-Demand Notaries for more information about levels.

Earning potential
ODNs handle retail signers when they first begin on our platform. On average, notaries handling retail traffic complete meetings in about 10 minutes. That means you could potentially make upwards of $20-$40 per hour, though handling times will vary on a meeting-by-meeting basis.
The pricing structure mentioned above is subject to change. Visit our website for more information: https://www.notarize.com/notary.
