Steps for Title Agents and Lenders to add new or existing team members as notaries.
⚠️ To follow the procedures below, you'll need to be the Admin for your organization.

Add New Team Members as Notaries
- Sign in to your Proof account.
- Click Team members from the navigation panel on the left:
- If you don't see the panel, click the caret to expand it.
- On the left of the new page that appears, click .
- Type the new user's first name, last name, and email address in the Invite a New Member window.
- Select the role the user should have in your organization's account.
- Select the radio dial to answer Yes to "Will this person notarize documents?"
- Provide the notary's state of commission and their language (English, Spanish, or both).
- Click
- The new user selects the link in the Welcome Email from Proof to activate their account and is redirected to the portal to Create a Notary Profile for Real Estate.
Add Existing Team Members as Notaries
- Sign in to your Proof account.
- Click Team members from the navigation panel on the left:
- If you don't see the panel, click the caret to expand it.
- Click the kebab menu (3 dots) for the user you want to update.
- Select Edit role & permissions.
- Select the radio dial to answer Yes to "Will this person notarize documents?"
- Provide the notary's state of commission and their language (English, Spanish, or both).
- Click .
ℹ️ A link appears in the dashboard of existing users inviting them to Create a Notary Profile for Real Estate.
