Having trouble with audio while using Chrome?
There is a known issue in which Chrome users may not be able to use their microphones. If your audio test is failing, you may not be able to connect with a notary. If your audio isn't working during a meeting, the notary may not be able to hear you as required. This is a Chrome bug that Google is actively working to address.
Check Your Microphone Settings
After you click "Let's Get Started", a connection test begins. You can adjust your settings during this test or you can do this while you are connected with a notary. Click on the video camera icon in the address bar to change your settings.
If the steps above do not resolve your issue, completely quit Chrome and relaunch it.
Please note, completely quitting means closing out all Chrome tabs, not just one. Instructions are provided below. Alternatively, you may wish to use another supported web browser.
How to Quit Chrome
Mac
On Mac, you can completely quit Chrome by going to the Chrome menu in the top left and selecting Quit Google Chrome.
PC
On Windows, you can completely quit Chrome by right-clicking Chrome in the Windows taskbar at the bottom of your screen and clicking Close All Windows.
