Our Onboarding team is here to make your experience from Encompass to Notarize with Proof as seamless as possible, but we do require testing on the Lender’s end to ensure everything is configured properly and documents are tagged appropriately.
The current Notarize with Proof Encompass integration supports Hybrids, Hybrids with eNotes, and Online closings. Once comfortable with the integration, we typically recommend starting to onboard with Hybrids and moving onto Hybrids with eNotes and Online closings. To perform Hybrid with eNotes and Online closings, you need to have an eVault stood up. See Connect an eVault for more information.
Onboarding Timeline
On average, lenders onboard within 6-8 weeks of Connecting Encompass to Notarize with Proof. This timeline is 100% up to the Lender and will vary depending on your availability to test the integration. Testing the integration ensures that your Closers are comfortable sending transactions from Encompass into Notarize with Proof. We test for accuracy, so when your team is ready to use the integration, transactions (and their document-tagging) are successful.
Testing
- Test sending an order from Encompass to Notarize with Proof to ensure the connection between the two systems works. See resources below:
- We ask that your team send two tests per loan type and state you will be operating in. This helps to ensure that your documents are tagged correctly before sending live transactions to signers.
- During onboarding, your team will submit feedback regarding your documents or any errors you come across into a Lender-specific feedback form provided by the Proof Onboarding team. You can also contact our support team at the email address below for any issues while Onboarding on the Encompass integration.
Go Live
The Proof Onboarding team will import your Notarize with Proof Fairfax’s template library into Notarize with Proof to prepare for going live. You will need to follow the same Configuration Steps above for your Proof portal, and we advise sending at least one test to your portal from your Encompass instance before sending a live transaction.
