Hybrid with eNote: Borrower Experience

Learn what to expect during the online portion of your Hybrid with eNote closing with Proof.

🎯Primary Audience: Borrowers

You’ll Need a Device with Internet Access

• Windows or Mac computer with a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
• Apple mobile device (iPhone or iPad) using the Notarize app or mobile web browser
• Android mobile device (tablet or smartphone) using the Notarize app or mobile web browser

Steps

1. Start the session. You'll receive an email from your lender with a link to sign your documents. The subject line reads, "You have closing documents ready to sign". Select Sign Documents Now.
   
   
2. Create your Proof account by entering a password when prompted. Your email address serves as your username. (Skip this step if your lender uses Passwordless Login.)
   
   
3. Select Sign Now.
   
   
4. Verify your identity.
   
   
5. Review your documents and click Sign Now to sign and initial your documents.
   
   
6. Preview Documents: Once you're finished eSigning, you can preview and download your completed documents.
   
   
7. You're finished with the online portion. The title company will schedule a meeting with an in-person notary to physically sign the rest of your mortgage documents.
