Below is an alphabetical list of statuses you might see and what they mean.
Status | Definition |
Active | An event in the HISTORY log of your transaction that indicates you clicked or |
Attempted | Your client has attempted to connect with a notary, but they've been unsuccessful in completing the transaction. |
Canceled | The reason for cancelation can be found on the History tab of the Transaction Details. |
Completed | The transaction is complete. You can view and download the completed documents if there has been a successful payment. |
Completed with Rejections |
A subset of documents is complete. This status is typically seen when signers are uploading their own documents for the transaction. The signer may include an unnecessary additional document that was not needed (like a photo of their ID). This may cause the notary to “reject” the unnecessary document and complete the intended document. ❗ If the signer needs to complete the remaining documents, a new transaction must be sent. Edits cannot be made to completed documents.
|
Expired |
The transaction date or window set when the transaction was created has expired. A new transaction must be created. It may be possible to extend an expiration date that has not passed. Contact Support for assistance. |
