Add a closing team to your transactions to keep your team updated automatically. This also allows signers to reach out to their real estate associates before or during the notary meeting without leaving the meeting or navigating away from their documents.

What to expect
The closing team experience
All contacts listed on a transaction receive status updates by email when:
- The transaction is sent to the signer.
- The meeting has begun.
- The meeting is complete.
The contacts below can can join the meeting with a computer or mobile device:
- Title Agents
- Real Estate Agents
- Mortgage Brokers
- Attorneys
The signer experience
The signer receives an email notifying them that their documents are ready to sign. Any contacts who are marked Visible to signer have their contact information included in this message.
Additionally, when the signer starts the session and attends a notary meeting, the closing team details will be available in the left corner under Contacts. The signer can use the phone icons to call the contact if desired.
Add closing contacts to a new transaction
Set up a closing team when you create a new or draft transaction. If you'd like to add closing contacts to a transaction that has already been sent or expired, first Recall a real estate transaction then follow the instructions below.
- Click + Add contact under Additional contacts.
- Select Closing contact.
- Select the desired contact type in the Contact role dropdown menu.
- Provide the required information.
- Check Visible to Signer to allow the signers to see the contact's name and information when they receive Proof email notifications and during the signing session.
Repeat as desired to add as many contacts as needed.
