Passport as ID: Best Practices for Capturing Photos

Learn the best methods for successfully using your passport as your ID on the Proof platform.

When providing a passport as your form of identification, take a photo of the pages separately:

• Use the photo page as the Portrait page
• Use the page with your signature as the Signature page

🎯Primary Audience: Signers

1. Click the Take Photo button.
2. Capture a clear picture of the photo page of your passport as the Portrait page.
   
   
3. Click Confirm and Continue, or click Re-take Photo to retake the photo if needed.
4. Click the Take Photo button.
5. Capture a clear picture of the signature page as the Signature page of your passport.
   
6. Click the Confirm and Continue button to proceed with the rest of the process.
