Overview
Transactions on the Proof platform are simple to complete. All you need is access to a computer or mobile device (smartphone, iPad, etc.). Your device must include a video camera and audio capabilities (sound and microphone access). You also need a strong internet connection.
For mobile device requirements, read Minimum Mobile Device Requirements to Complete Transactions on Proof.
Internet Connection Speed | Document Reader | Device Requirements |
Internet Connection Speed
Internet access through an internet service provider is a broadband connection sufficient to support a live, real-time audio-video connection. We recommend a hardwired setup, but Wi-Fi will also work.
Ideal speeds for optimal meeting success are:
Ping: <30ms
Upload: 5mBit
Download: 20mB
If you're unsure if your internet connection meets these requirements, you may use this tool to test your internet speed.
Document Reader
You need Acrobat Reader, Acrobat Standard, or Acrobat Professional with JavaScript and browser display enabled to access the digital certificate electronically attached to your notarized record.
Click here to download Adobe Reader for free. You must have Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader version 6.x or newer.
