Overflow allows your In-House Notaries (IHN) to use the Notarize Network as a backup when your notary is unavailable. Overflow is available in the Business, Title, and Lender portals for Business and Real Estate customers.
When the Overflow feature is enabled, you determine the maximum time that a customer waits for one of your IHNs before the call is routed to the Notarize Network.
For example, if Overflow is set to 5 minutes, a customer would be routed to the Notarize Network after waiting in your organization’s queue for 5 minutes. The call will still continue to ring in your queue but will likely be picked up quickly by an on-demand notary in the Notarize Network.
This feature must be enabled by Proof. Please contact Customer Support at support@proof.com to request this feature for your account. If you were assigned a Customer Success Manager (CSM), work with your CSM.
To enable Overflow within your Organization Settings, reach out to your Customer Success Manager or contact Support.
