Here's how to replace a document you uploaded or add additional documents to a transaction during a meeting with a notary. The notary may prompt you to upload a document for one of the following two reasons:
- The company that sent your transaction requests additional documents to complete your document package.
- The documents were uploaded incorrectly the first time (missing a page, crooked, etc.)
If the document is sideways or upside down when it's uploaded, you can rotate a document after upload.
Who this is for
The information and/or process below applies to all users on the Proof platform.
What to expect
To use this feature, you must:
- Use a personal account (not a business account).
- Be prompted to upload the document by the notary.
If you're uploading a document to replace the original document, the notary will reject the original document so that the new document can be completed.
