If you are encountering issues with the Proof platform not functioning as intended, you may need to clear your browser cache. This is a common first step for troubleshooting web browsers because it is often successful at resolving minor issues.
The Proof platform supports Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari. The following are steps to clear the browser cache for Chrome and Firefox.

The information and/or process below applies to all users on the Proof platform.
Why is this needed
Clearing the browser cache means emptying stored data from previous visits to the site. The next time you visit a web page, everything must be downloaded anew. This can help resolve basic issues on the website.
Google Chrome
To clear Google Chrome's cache:
- Click Chrome's 3 vertical dots menu icon to the right of the address bar.
- Select Delete browsing data.
- Select All time in the Time Range dropdown menu in the dialogue box.
- Check the box next to Cached images and files.
- You may need to uncheck the boxes next to "Browsing history" and "Cookies and other site data."
- Click Delete data.
The browser cache is now empty; you may return to your Proof account or transaction.
Mozilla Firefox
- Click Firefox's main menu icon to the right of the address bar.
- Select History in the dropdown menu.
- Select Clear Recent History in the dropdown menu.
- Change the Time range to clear to Everything in the dialogue box that appears
- Make sure only Cache is checked.
- Select Clear Now.
The browser cache is now empty; you may return to your Proof account or transaction.
