How It Works

To keep your meeting secure and valid, you must remain connected to both audio and video through the Proof platform for the entire session. When you switch to your phone for audio, we handle the technical details for you:

We automatically mute your computer microphone to prevent echoing.

The call ends automatically as soon as your meeting is finished.

U.S. numbers only: We currently only support U.S. phone numbers. If you have an international number, use the Notarize mobile app instead.

Call for Audio During a Meeting

1. Open Your Settings +

Click the three vertical dots located under your video feed.

2. Select A/V Settings +

Choose A/V settings from the menu options.

3. Choose Phone Audio +

Under the section labeled Select a device for audio, click Phone.

4. Enter Your Number and Dial +

Type your phone number and click Dial in for audio.

5. Answer Your Phone +

Answer the incoming call on your phone to instantly sync your audio with the meeting.
