Download the audit trail from the transaction record in your individual account. The transaction-level audit trail generally tracks events for all users who interact with the documents.

Who this is for
The information and/or process below is for all users who can join or have completed a meeting.
What to expect
The audit trail generally tracks the following events for all users who interact with the documents:
- Signer names and signatures
- Signer email addresses1
- Signer's signature and physical location at the time of the notarization2
- Document created
- KBA passed
- ID verified
- Signature agreement
- Initials agreement
- Biometric consent, if applicable
- Applying a signature
- Applying initials
- Applying a seal
- Applying a digital certificate

⚠️ If multiple transactions were completed for the document, the transaction-level audit trail will only have information from the most recent transaction.
Download the transaction-level audit trail
Log in to your Proof account to complete the steps below.
- Click the Completed tab to view your completed transactions.
- Click View next to the desired transaction from the list of documents in your account.
- Select the Document tab from the top menu of the Document Details window that appears.
- Click AuditTrail.pdf under Supplementary merged documents to preview the PDF of the audit trail.
- Click Download from the lower right corner to save a copy of the audit trail.
