Archiving transactions moves the transaction from the All Transactions folder to the Archived folder. You can use this feature to support internal company workflows and post processing, such as indicating that a transaction has completed your own business process.
Who can do this
Any user in your organization with an owner, admin, team member, and sender role can perform the action below.
What to expect
Transactions can be archived individually or in bulk. Bulk transactions are limited to 50 transactions at a time.
- Only completed transactions can be archived.
- When you archive transactions, they are moved to the Archived folder immediately. Archiving a transaction does not delete the transaction.
- You can always unarchive or restore any archived transactions back to the All Transactions folder.
Log in to your Proof account to complete the steps below.
Archive completed transactions
You can archive completed transactions individually or more than one at a time. If you need help with finding the transactions you're looking for, check out Search and filter transactions.
Archive one or more transactions
- Click Send & manage (or My closings) from the navigation panel on the left.
- If you don't see the panel, click the caret to expand it.
- Use the tools to find the transaction(s) you'd like to archive.
- Check the box next to one or more completed transactions to archive.
- Click Archive from the box that appears above the list of transactions.
If the option to archive is grayed out, make sure only transactions with Complete status have been selected.
Archive a single transaction
If you'd like to archive a single transaction while you're viewing Transaction Details, you can do so from the Transaction actions button.
- Click Send & manage (or My closings) from the navigation panel on the left.
- Open the completed transaction you'd like to archive.
- Click Transaction actions from the upper right corner.
- Select Archive.
Restore archived transactions
If you want to search for transactions that have been archived, navigate to the Archived folder and search from there.
Unarchive multiple transactions
- Click Send & manage from the menu on the left.
- Click Archived from the Send & manage page menu.
- Check the box(es) to select one or more transactions.
- Click Unarchive from the box that appears above the list of transactions.
Unarchive a single transaction
If you'd like to unarchive a single transaction while you're viewing Transaction Details, you can do so from the Transaction actions button.
- Click Send & manage (or My closings) from the navigation panel on the left.
- Open the transaction.
- Click Transaction actions from the upper right corner.
- Select Unarchive.
ℹ️ You can unarchive transactions immediately after you archived them; click Undo at the bottom of the confirmation message that appears for a few seconds after the action is taken.
