Mobile Web

Mobile Web is the use of the internet through handheld mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets.

Not to be confused with a mobile app, the Mobile Web allows you to use your phone like a computer and have a great experience accessing a website like Proof.com through your preferred browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.).

To have that great experience, the folks behind the curtain must take the time and work some magic to make the doohickeys and whatchamacallits behave when you switch from a computer to your phone or tablet. If they don't, you have one of those not-so-great experiences we've all had where most of the words disappear from the screen, and you can't finish what you started.

Proof optimized the Mobile Web experience so signers and witnesses can complete transactions using a web browser on a computer or mobile device.

Benefits

  • 📲 Convenient for users who don't have access to a PC (personal computer)
  • No need to download another app!
  • ✈ī¸ 🚴đŸŊ‍♀ī¸ Same great experience at home, at work, or on the move!
✅ 🎧 To change your connected Bluetooth audio output to a new one, first make the change on your mobile device under (Settings > Bluetooth > Depends on device), then select the newly connected Bluetooth listening device on the Proof platform.

Signers

Signers can complete the same actions on their phone or another mobile device as they can use a PC, including:

  • Uploading their own transactions and adding notes.
  • Adding, moving, and deleting notations.
  • Filling out fields and taking action on flags. 
  • Changing settings, such as payment method, password, etc.

The experience is the same, regardless of the device used, but the screens may look a little different from one device to another as they automatically adjust to fit the device.

Witnesses

Credible Identifying Witnesses and Florida Property Remote Witnesses can choose to use a computer or a mobile device to join meetings.

On-demand witnesses who are answering witness calls from the on-demand queue must use a computer to act as a witness.

Your witnesses don't need to feel tied down; they have the freedom to participate from anywhere, with just the phone in their pocket! 🌎 📲
