The Notary Notes feature allows business and real estate customers to add a transaction-specific note for notaries.
💡In addition, or alternatively, you can add universal Notary Instructions in your account settings.
Notary Notes can be added for a variety of reasons, including:
- Specific instructions to the notary on how to handle a document.
- Requests from the sender to prompt the signer(s) to upload a supplemental document(s) during the meeting.
- General reminders for the notary's interaction with the signer.
- Contact information for the notary can be used if questions arise during the notarization meeting.
If notes are added or modified, the updated note(s) is highlighted in blue for the number of days specified by the organization, or until the notary marks it as read.
