This feature provides a new field, Notary Disclosure, that can be added when prepping documents before sending them to Signers.

Mobile Web for EasyLinks
What is this?
Releasing Mobile Web for EasyLinks allows signers that are accessing an EasyLink from a mobile device to continue forward in their mobile browser rather than having to download the app.
When signers access an EasyLink on their mobile device, they’ll be prompted to select whether they want to continue in the browser on Mobile Web or download the app. Signers will be able to complete their entire transaction via Mobile Web.
There are 2 types of EasyLinks:
- Business uploads and tags the documents (Business customers and Notaries sourcing their own transactions)
- Signer uploads documents:
- Notarization
- Identity Confirmation (aka Verification of Fact)
Note: We are not supporting Signer-uploaded eSign transactions via Mobile Web with this release.

-
Users:

Signer can edit
What is this?
Organization Admins can set an org default for the signer can edit toggle on documents added to new transactions. This toggle controls whether or not Signers are able to edit documents.
Previously, this toggle only controlled pre-meeting Signer Tools. This feature has been updated to control Signer Annotation Tools throughout the Notarize experience. With this release, if signer can edit is toggled OFF, Signers will only be able to take action on designations placed by the business that initiated the transaction.

Moving Check ID & Alert A/V
What is this?
We are moving two Notary actions – Check ID and Alert A/V Issue – from the dropdown menu beneath a Signer’s video feed to the video feed baseplate itself. This will reduce the number of clicks required for Notaries, as well as encourage the use of the Alert A/V Issues function when there are technical issues. Additionally, we are updating the UI for credible witnesses so their identification symbols match those of Signers.
Who does this impact?
- Availability: All Notaries
- Users: Notaries
- Transaction Types: All
