Streamline how you set up templates between parent/child accounts by exporting document templates to import into another account.
Who can do this
Any user in your organization with an owner, admin, and team member role can perform the actions described below.
ℹ️ Business document templates and template matching are not intended for real estate customers. If you're a real estate customer and would like to use templates for your transactions, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or contact sales.
What to expect
Use business document templates to automate the preparation of general standardized forms and documents that are pre-generated with signer information. Once your templates are set up, enable template matching to streamline your transactions even further.
Follow the steps below to learn how to easily export templates from one account to another. To import templates, read Import business document templates.

Export business document templates
Log in to your Proof account to complete the steps below.
- Click Tools from the navigation panel on the left.
- If you don't see the panel, click the caret to expand it.
- Select Document templates from the Tools page menu.
- Check the boxes next to the templates you'd like to export.
- Click Export from the bar at the top of the list of templates.
- Check your email for the exported zip file(s).
Depending on the number of templates, this should only take a few minutes or less.
