The short answer: Admins, team members, and NSTs can delete one or more document templates from their account. Deleted templates cannot be recovered, so confirm you want to permanently remove a template before proceeding. Read more about business document templates.
Before You Delete
Keep the following in mind before deleting a document template:
Delete Business Document Templates
To delete one or more document templates, follow these steps. Log in to your Proof account to get started.
- Click Tools from the navigation panel on the left.
- If you don't see the panel, click the caret to expand it.
- Select Document templates.
- Check the box next to each template you'd like to delete.
- Check the box at the top of the list to select all templates at once.
- Check the box at the top of the list to select all templates at once.
- Click Delete from the menu bar above the list of templates.
- The menu bar does not appear until at least one template is selected.
- Click Delete again in the confirmation pop-up.
A "Template deleted" confirmation appears at the top of the page when the deletion is complete.
Summary Checklist
- Confirmed the template isn't used in an active EasyLink (or deactivated/reassigned it).
- Selected the template(s) to delete from Tools > Document templates.
- Clicked Delete in the menu bar and confirmed in the pop-up.
- Saw the "Template deleted" confirmation at the top of the page.
