Audience: Everyone

The short answer: EasyLinks are shareable links that send customers directly into a notarization or eSignature session — no manual invite required.

For Organizations

EasyLinks are designed for documents that follow the same format and go out frequently. Instead of sending transactions one by one, you can set up a link once and let customers jump straight into the process on their own — saving your team time and reducing manual effort.

You can customize each EasyLink with a name, payment designation, and document requirements, and update any of these settings whenever you need to.

When creating an EasyLink, you have three options to choose from:

1. Identify

Verify the recipient's identity without any documents involved.

2. Template-Based

Add one or more document templates to the transaction. Best when every recipient receives the same documents. Available to businesses only — not real estate organizations.

3. Signer Upload

Let the signer upload their own documents to complete the transaction.

For Recipients

From a recipient's perspective, getting started is simple. They access the EasyLink using whatever method the organization shares — a direct link, a button on a website, or a QR code — and complete their eSignature or notarization entirely online.

EasyLink transactions come directly from the business the signer is working with. Manual transactions, on the other hand, are sent from Proof and are either branded as Proof or co-branded with the business.

⚠️
Pro tip: Transactions not generated via EasyLink are emailed from noreply@proof.com.
