Phone possession in Verify transactions
We are introducing a new Phone Possession Verification tool within Verify. This feature allows agents to confirm that a client is in physical control of the phone number they provided before their Verify session. As part of identity triangulation, the agent can send a one-time 6-digit code (OTP) via SMS, and the client enters it in-session. The system validates the code and returns a clear success or failure signal to the agent. Agents may retry or skip the step if needed (NX-5595).
