The short answer: Signature fields that won't show, won't respond to clicks or taps, or that leave the Continue button greyed out are almost always caused by browser zoom, a missing required field, or a display issue — not a problem with your document.
Signature Fields Aren't Appearing on My Screen
The most common cause is browser zoom or display scaling pushing fields off-screen or hiding them entirely.
- Zoom your browser out to 100% — press Ctrl + 0 on Windows or Cmd + 0 on Mac to reset zoom instantly.
- Scroll slowly through the entire document from top to bottom. Fields are placed at specific locations in the document — they won't float to a visible area if you're zoomed in.
- If you're on a laptop or small screen, try switching to full-screen mode (F11 on Windows, or the green circle in the top-left corner on Mac).
- If fields still don't appear, try a different browser. We recommend Chrome on desktop for the most consistent experience.
- Disable any browser extensions — ad blockers and PDF-handling extensions can interfere with document rendering. Try opening the session in a private/incognito window, which disables extensions by default.
If fields are still missing after these steps, contact the person or organization who sent you the transaction — they may need to re-prepare the document with the signature fields correctly placed.
I Can't Click or Tap the Signature Field on My Phone
- Rotate your device to landscape orientation — some fields are easier to tap when the document is wider.
- Tap directly on the yellow highlighted field, not next to it.
- If the field still doesn't respond, try pinching to zoom out first, then tap the field.
- Close any other apps running in the background and reload the signing session.
- If the issue persists, try a different mobile browser.
The Continue Button Is Greyed Out Even Though I Signed
A greyed-out Continue button means one or more required fields in the document haven't been completed yet. Every required field must be filled before you can proceed.
- Scroll through the entire document from top to bottom — required fields are highlighted in yellow. It's easy to miss a field on a long document, especially initials fields that appear between pages.
- Look specifically for: initials fields (separate from your full signature and required wherever they appear), date fields (some documents require you to manually enter or confirm the date), and text fields (any field asking for typed information, like an address or phone number).
- If you've completed everything visible and the button is still greyed out, zoom out to 100% and scroll again — fields hidden by zoom are still counted as incomplete.
- If you're on mobile, switch to a desktop browser if possible — it's easier to identify missed fields on a larger screen.
Summary Checklist
- Zoom your browser to 100% and scroll the full document before assuming fields are missing.
- A greyed-out Continue button means a required field — usually an initials or date field — hasn't been completed yet.
- Disabling browser extensions or using a private/incognito window can fix fields that aren't responding.
- On mobile, rotating to landscape or zooming out can help fields respond to taps.
- If fields are genuinely missing from the document, contact whoever sent you the transaction — the document may need to be re-prepared.
