Create a Title Agency Account

The short answer: You can create a free title agency account on Proof directly from the pricing page, or by accepting a lender's invitation to a transaction. Either way, you'll verify your email, set a password, and configure your account before getting started.

How It Works

Title companies are required to indicate the states they operate in and the title insurance underwriters they do business with. Proof uses this information to determine whether a property address is eligible for fully online or hybrid closings.

Proof performs an eligibility check during transaction creation, but title agents are responsible for understanding their underwriters' requirements and restrictions. Check with the receiving party before sending transactions to confirm you have all the information you need.

Option 1: Sign Up Directly

Use this path if you're creating an account on your own, without a lender invitation.

1. Visit the pricing page and click Sign Up Now.
2. Provide the required information about yourself and your business name.
3. Review Proof's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then click Sign Up.
4. Select the state(s) you operate in and the title underwriters you work with.
   
   • This information helps Proof determine whether a property address is eligible for fully online or hybrid closings.
5. Click Save and Continue.
6. Select your payment method.
   • Credit card
   • Bank account
   • Charge my recipients: Recipients are prompted for payment after the transaction is complete.
7. Click Save and Continue.
8. (Optional) Invite other team members, or click Skip for Now.

You're done! You can now access your account. Welcome to Proof!

Option 2: Accept a Lender Invitation

Use this path if a lender has invited you to collaborate on a transaction via email.

1. Select Add Title Documents in the email from noreply@proof.com.
2. Select Send Verification Email on the following screen.
   
3. Open your inbox and find the email from noreply@proof.com with the subject line, "Verify your email address."
4. Select the Verify Email Address button, then create a password.
   
5. Confirm your name and company name by selecting Save and Continue.
