Audience: Organizations

The short answer: From the Users page, click the 3-dot menu next to a pending invite to resend or revoke it.

Both actions apply only to users who have been invited but have not yet created their account. To invite a new user, see Invite a New User. If the user has already created their account, see Deactivate an existing user's account instead.

Log in to your Proof account to complete the steps below. This content is for users with the owner, admin, or user manager role in your organization.


Resend a User Invitation

Use this option if a user says they never received the invitation or can't find it.

  1. Click Users from the navigation panel on the left.
  2. Find the user whose invitation you'd like to resend.
  3. Click the 3 dots on the far right of their name.
  4. Select Resend invitation from the dropdown menu.

The invitation is resent immediately. If the user still can't find the message, ask them to check their spam folder.


Revoke a User Invitation

Use this option to cancel a pending invitation. The user will still have the original email in their inbox, but the link will no longer work to create an account.

  1. Click Users from the navigation panel on the left.
  2. Click the 3 dots next to the member whose invitation you want to revoke.
  3. Select Revoke Invitation from the menu that appears.
  4. Click Revoke in the confirmation pop-up.

A confirmation appears at the top of the page and the user is removed from the list.
