Audience: Recipients
The short answer: Before your notarization session, you'll place fields on your document to mark where your name, date, and other information will go. The notary adds their own required fields when you meet.

1. Rotate Your Pages (If Needed)
If any pages are sideways or upside down, rotate them before you place any fields. Rotating the document after fields are added isn't supported.
2. Place Your Fields
Use the toolbar on the right side of the screen to add fields to your document.
1Select the field type you want from the toolbar on the right. Your cursor changes to show the selected field type.
2Move your cursor to where you want to place the field.
3Click that spot to place the field.
4Repeat until all your fields are placed.

The notary places their own fields when you meet, so no need to add those.

- If you need to rotate a page, do it before placing any fields.
- Select a field from the toolbar, then click where to place it on your document.
