If you have a transaction that can be executed by anyone from a group of people in your organization,
you can send the transaction to a shared inbox. Anyone who has access to the inbox and is available for the meeting can sign the document on the organization's behalf.
A member of a signing group cannot complete the transaction on Notarize mobile apps; this feature is only available when using a web browser.
Use case example
A mortgage lender creates a transaction that requires a signature from the borrower, followed by a signature from a construction company. Anyone from the construction company is authorized to sign, but they don't know who will be available after the borrower signs.
By sending the transaction to a Signing Group of the company, the mortgage lender ensures that the deal moves forward without unnecessary delays — the first person to see the email can sign on behalf of the construction company.
Who can use this
Any user in your organization who can create and send transactions can perform the steps below.
