The short answer: Add CC contacts to automatically notify specific people when a transaction is sent and when the meeting is complete — no Proof account required.

How it works

CC contacts receive automatic email notifications at two key moments: when you send the transaction, and when the notary meeting is complete.

The completion notification includes a secure code that lets the CC contact view and download the finished documents, so they can stay in the loop without needing access to your Proof account.

Add a CC contact

You can add CC contacts while creating your transaction.

1. Select + Add CC Contact

You'll find this option in the transaction setup screen.

2. Enter the email address

Type the contact's email address in the field that appears.

3. Add more contacts (optional)

To notify multiple people, select + Add CC contact again and enter another email address. Repeat as needed.
