The short answer: Here's how to reschedule a real estate closing from the Transaction Details to change the dates of a closing that hasn't been completed yet.

Moving the signing to a different date, time, or time zone that's after the original scheduled date may require the lender to redraw the documents.

Reschedule a transaction

Log in to your Proof account to complete the steps below.

  1. Select Transactions.
  2. Find and open the transaction you'd like to reschedule.
  3. Select Reschedule to the right of the document preview on the Summary tab.

  4. Select the button for the type of schedule you'd like to set.
    • Date window — Choose a date range during which the transaction can be completed.
    • Schedule closing — Choose a specific date and time for the signer(s) to meet with a notary.
  5. Choose the new date, time, and time zone.
  6. Select Save changes.

Summary Checklist

  • Open the transaction → Summary tab → select Reschedule.
  • Choose Date window or Schedule closing, set the new date/time/timezone, and select Save changes.
  • Rescheduling after the original date may require the lender to redraw documents.
