If you need to reschedule a real estate closing transaction that you sent, you can use the process below to change the dates of the closing that has not yet been completed.
Log in to your Proof account to complete the steps below.
Who can use this
Anyone who can send and edit transactions for the account can reschedule a transaction.
Warnings
⚠️ Moving the signing to a different date, time, or time zone that's after the original scheduled date may require the lender to redraw the documents.
Reschedule a transaction
- Click My closings.
- Find and open the transaction you'd like to reschedule.
- Click Reschedule to the right of the document preview on the Summary tab.
- Select the button for the type of schedule you'd like to set.
- Date window: Choose a date range during which the transaction can be completed.
- Schedule closing: Choose a specific date and time you'd like the signer(s) to meet with a notary.
- Choose the new date, time, and time zone.
- Click Save changes.
