Create an Identify Transaction with SoftPro Integration

Audience: Organizations

The short answer: Here's how to create a Proof Identify transaction using the SoftPro integration. Proof supports identity verification of one individual at a time per standalone Identify transaction — repeat the steps below for each additional person.

This can be done by any user in your organization with access to create transactions in both SoftPro and Proof. You'll need an existing SoftPro transaction and a Proof API key — read Generate a full-access API key if you don't have one yet.

Create the transaction in Proof

  1. Navigate to the 360 tab after the transaction is created in SoftPro.
  2. Select Services in the Transactions box at the top of your account.
  3. Find Settlement Services in the navigation on the left.
  4. Select Proof - Verify Identity | Notarize Online | eSign.

  5. If this is your first time logging in to Proof from SoftPro:
    • Select Login in the Product Management pop-up window.

    • Type or paste your full-access Proof API key in the pop-up window to connect SoftPro to Proof.
    • Check the Remember Me box to skip this step in the future.
    • Select OK.
  6. Select Add in the lower left corner of the pop-up window.
  7. Select Identity Verification in the Product Selection window.
