Invite your colleagues to join your team in Proof while making sure they're getting the appropriate role and access. Most permissions are built into the role, but access to certain features can be granted separately (see Special permissions below).
If you're looking for information about users in Command Center, read User roles in Command Center.

Special permissions
You can also grant access to special permissions depending on the user and your subscription. Read more about each type below.
- In-house notary: In-house notaries, sometimes called IHNs, are your employees who are also commissioned notaries. IHNs can notarize documents for your customers. You can also enable overflow to allow on-demand notaries to conduct notarizations if your in-house notaries are not available. Read Overflow to the Notarize Network for more information.
-
Defend: Team members with access to Defend can see more details about a recipient's identity and personal information.
- Read Proof Defend overview for more details about Defend.
Read Invite a new team member or in-house notary for instructions on adding a new in-house notary to your team or giving a new member Defend access.
Contacting support about transactions
If someone in your organization needs assistance with a transaction or closing, they must be a contact on the transaction or have an account linked to that transaction to receive support from Proof's Customer Support team.
