The short answer: If you need to update a transaction that has already been sent to signers, use the Recall from Signers button on the Proof eClosing form in Encompass to recall it. This transitions the order to a recalled state in Proof — essentially a draft transaction you can update and resend.
Recall orders from Encompass
You can recall a transaction after it has been sent to the signer from Proof, or recall the order directly from the Proof eClosing form in Encompass.
Signers receive an email alerting them that the transaction is being updated. Once you resend, they'll receive a new email to sign the documents.
Use the Update Order button for any updates to the transaction. The transaction in Proof will show as being in a recalled state, but you can update it just as you would a draft. Any new documents ordered to the eFolder will be replaced on the transaction in Proof. See How documents are pulled from Encompass to Proof for more information.
When you finish making updates, log in to the Proof portal and select Send to Signers for hybrid transaction types, or Send to Title for online closings.
