Risk signals in Defend have been updated to be more comprehensive and consistent, covering a broader range of risk signal types and presenting them in a standardized format to better support transactional investigation.

Improved Multi-Select in Document Editor

The multi-select feature in the document editor now supports additional actions, including reassigning fields to different signers or witnesses, marking fields as required or optional, setting field instructions, and adding anchor text in bulk to templates. Multi-select is available in both the document and template editors.

Redesigned Identity Profile View

The identity profile view in Business, Title, and Lender accounts has been refreshed with a new look. This update introduces a “verified” badge for users who completed IAL2 verification via a Proof transaction, along with a timestamp showing when the identity last met the IAL2 standard.

Updated Arizona Remote Online Notarization (RON) Compliance

Proof has updated how it supports Arizona remote online notarizations (RON) to better align with current state requirements and simplify compliance for notaries and customers. For all Arizona RON sessions, Proof will now:

  • Capture and store the signer’s government-issued ID credential number as a dedicated field in the Arizona notary journal entry
  • Retain audiovisual recordings of Arizona RON sessions for at least 7 years
