The short answer: Clearing your browser cache is the fastest way to fix minor glitches and ensure Proof runs smoothly during your meeting.

How the cache works

Think of your cache as a memory bank. Sometimes your browser remembers an old version of a page that interferes with your current meeting. By clearing it, you force the browser to download the latest, most secure version of the Proof platform.

Each browser handles this process a little differently. Select yours from the list below for step-by-step instructions:

  •

    1. Select the three vertical dots to the right of your address bar to open your privacy settings.
    2. Choose All time from the dropdown menu to ensure a fresh start.
    3. Check the box for Cached images and files. We recommend unchecking "Browsing history" and "Cookies" if you want to stay logged into other sites.
    4. Select Delete data. You can now return to your transaction.

    2. Privacy & Services: In the left-hand sidebar, select Privacy, search, and services.
    3. Clear Browsing Data: Scroll down to the "Clear browsing data" section and select Choose what to clear.
    4. Set the Time Range: In the dropdown menu, select All time to ensure a fresh start.
    5. Select Data Types: Check the box next to Cached images and files.
      • You can uncheck "Browsing history" and "Cookies" if you only want to fix site performance without logging out of other websites.
    6. Finish: Select the Clear now button.

Summary Checklist

  • Select "All Time" or "Everything" for the time range.
  • Only check the "Cache" box to keep your passwords and cookies saved.
