Who this is for
The information and/or process below is for all users who can join or have completed a meeting.
Internet Connection Speed
Whether you're using an Apple or Android device, a strong internet connection is needed.
Strong Wi-Fi is ideal for meeting with a notary on the Notarize app, but if your Wi-Fi network isn't strong or stable enough, try switching to your cellular data network instead.
The Notarize app requires a reliable internet connection to successfully complete a notarization. The Proof platform requires that you have consistent download speeds of 5 Mbps and upload speed of 3 Mbps. Before your meeting, the Notarize app will test your network connection and display bars that indicate your network quality. Check out What Do Meeting Quality Network Indicators Mean? if you need help understanding the network quality bars.
