Audience: Everyone
The short answer: Add Proof to your AI assistant, sign in or create your Proof account, and select Allow. You only need to do this once.
⚠️
You'll need an email address to sign in with and a phone that can receive text messages.
1. Add Proof to Your Assistant
Open your assistant's connectors or apps settings, find Proof, and select Connect.
2. Sign In or Create an Account
Enter the email address you want to use with Proof and select Continue, or select Sign in with Google.
⚠️
New to Proof? You will be asked to finish setting up your Proof Digital ID
before your assistant can use it to verify you.
3. Enter Your Password
Enter your password and select Sign in. Skip this step if you signed in with Google.
4. Verify It's You
Proof sends a text message to the phone number on your account. Select Send verification text, then enter the code.
5. Allow Access
Check what your assistant is asking for. It can see your name and email from your Proof profile. Select Allow.
⚠️
Your assistant doesn't get a copy of your ID. Every identity check comes back to you to approve.
After You Connect
- You stay connected, so you don't need to sign in every time your assistant uses Proof.
- If your connection expires or is removed, your assistant asks you to sign in again. Follow these steps again. You don't need a new account.
- To use Proof for an identity check, see Verify Your Identity With Proof in an AI Assistant.
Summary Checklist
- I added Proof to my assistant.
- I signed in or created my Proof account.
- I verified it's me with the text message code.
- I selected Allow.
